Chescombe is a purpose built, provision located on the Gloucester Road in Patchway. It is managed by Chescombe Trust and is registered with the Care Quality Commission to provide accommodation, care and support for up to 19 persons, aged 18 – onwards in the learning disability category.
Chescombe will provide accommodation and support for people with a Learning Disability who have a wide variety of complex needs. Some of the people who live here may display challenging behaviour. Some of the people who live here may also be on the Autistic Spectrum. The needs and wishes of the people who are supported by Chescombe Trust will be identified in their Care Plan and developed and delivered by fully trained and qualified staff through their Person Centred Plan.
Chescombe contains 3 group homes Orchard House, Treetops, Lavender Lodge. There is also 3 studio flats that provide facilities for individual accommodation there is also a small office facility and meeting /training room.
Chescombe is located in approximately half an acre of ground and blends in well with the local area. It is close to local shops, health care facilities and social amenities.
There is level access to public transport within 100 metres and we own a small number of suitable vehicles which are used to support social and educational activities.
